This large painting showing several figures at the Harbour of Jaffa, was only known through photographs and was thought ot be lost. But in actually the painting was in in the private collection of a German collector since 1951. During an auction in London the painting changed ownership to the London dealer Richard Green .(Handelsblatt vom 28.10.1997)
